So thank-you for this fun award. Here are the rules for this award.

Here are seven things about me:
1. My feet are my thermometer. If they are cold, I am cold. If they are hot, I am hot. It is very weird, I know.
2. I am the oldest child of 4. There are two boys and two girls in my family.
3. I HATE, and I mean Hate Tomatoes. I only like them in sauce or ketchup. I almost threw up in the garden one time when I tried to eat a beautiful, home grown, cherry tomato. My Dad doesn't like them either, so I guess that is where I get it.
4. I get sick if I get too stressed, so I "try" and keep my stress to a minimum. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
5. I like the toilet paper to come out from the bottom and not the top. This aggravates my husband to no end, but somehow we make it work.
6. I have a small crush on Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs. He is good looking AND funny.
7. I can't stand shopping. I do not like going to the mall and spending hours and hours looking for clothing, shoes and purses and my wardrobe shows it. If I could pay someone to shop for me I would. Unfortunately my poor daughter LOVES to shop and she got stuck with me for a mother. Poor girl.

A Major Award

Well, not a major award. I just have to leave a few comments and I won a blog giveaway. So a big thank-you to Melinda over at Under My Umbrella for this great prize.

I was pretty excited because I love gorilla glue and with two boys in the house we are CONSTANTLY gluing something. They managed to break two lamps in less than a week if you can believe that. Boys!

I got a bloggy award from my Mom. I think she is trying to get me to post more regularly. I must admit to loosing my blog mojo lately. I am still alive and well and am lurking around on every ones blogs. I just haven't sat down to post on my own. I blame it on TV, such a vortex of time wasting. So here we go. Now you can get to know me a little better, or at least read about my odd quirks. Hope you enjoy.

Ten things about me.
1. I am addicted to Facebook. I spend WAY to much time on there. Although I don't play farmville, because I know my family would never see me. Besides, I have my own little farm that fills my needs.
2. I LOVE watching Dancing with the Stars. I secretly would love to be on that show and learn how to dance!
3. I need chocolate everyday!
4. I get scared coming back from the barn at night. In the back of my mind I am worried about a vampire being out in the field. I think I have read Twilight to many times.
5. I love reading chapter books out loud with my kids. I love how they get into the stories and ask for more.
6. I wish our lives were set to music. Wouldn't it be so much more fun!
7. I am secretly in love with Gerard Butler, Hugh Jackman, and Mike Rowe . I am a sucker for that accents and comedic timing. Sshhh, don't tell my husband.
8. I have never been outside the country, but I have swam in both oceans on either side of the country.
9. Someday I want to have a Bed & Breakfast. I am currently collecting yummy breakfast recipes. Now I have to talk my hubby into it!
10. I love genealogy. I love finding out what my ancestors were like. I love looking at old pictures and feeling a connection to the past.
