Been Tagged!

I was tagged again by my blog buddy Amy from Keepin the Sunnyside
I'm supposed to talk about 7 personality traits.

1. Animal Lover-I LOVE animals of every kind. My blood pressure drops every time I am around animals. I would bring home every stray if hubby would let me! I cry harder if an animal dies in a movie, than a human. Pathetic I know!

2. Way too honest. I just can't help it, that's how I was raised! Sometimes I don't realize I am hurting others feeling by being honest, it's just how I am. Sometimes telling the truth has gotten me in a lot of hot water, but at least I was honest!

3. Organized-I have to be organized, or I have major meltdowns. It makes me CRAZY not to be able to find something. Eye clutter makes me stressed out! Piles of papers make me irritable. It is so satisfying to open a junk drawer and have it be neat! Not that my life is always organized.

4. Hardworking-I love working hard. For some reason I get a lot of self confidence out of working hard. Keeping my home up, working in the yard, working on projects, etc. I just can't stop myself!

5. Loyal but Untrusting-OK, that sounds funny, but I have friends forever and am loyal to the end, but if someone does something to loose my trust, that is it forever. I find it impossible to trust again. In the words of Mr. Darcy, "My good opinion once lost is lost forever."

6. Terrible Speller. I am constantly typing words into Google for spelling correction. Even simple words stump me sometimes. I just look at is and think it looks OK! Duh!

7. Like Amy I am very Shy! It must be a Taurus thing, because I am terribly shy in a room of people I don't know. I am terrible at creating conversation out of thin air! My mind goes blank and then I feel like an idiot, an the moment passes and I just sit there. But once I feel comfortable around someone, I am an open book.

Now you get to read even more about me! Are you sick of me yet! I am, but here goes!
These are the ABC's of ME!
So here goes.
A- Available/Married? VERY MARRIED!
B - Best Friend? Molly-best best buds as long as I can remember!

E - Essential item you use everyday? Laptop (for blogging of course)

G - Gummy Bears or Worms? Worms

K - Kids and their names? Addison, Logan, Landon

L - Life is incomplete without? Family time
M - Marriage Date? August 20
N - Number of Siblings? 3, all younger
O - Oranges or Apples? Both! I love Fuji's and Clementine oranges!

Q - Quote for today? I am a child of God!
R - Reason to smile? Hugs from my kids!
S - Season? Fall for sure! I love crisp weather, soups, sweaters, fall leaves, back to school, football, etc. I could go on and on and on!
T - Tag 3 People? Mom, Michelle, Nicole
U - Unknown fact about me? I lived through Mt. St. Helen's erupting. I was six and terrified. We had to evacuate for several weeks. Not fun. Plus the swing set got ruined. Major bummer when you are six!

W - Worst habit? playing with my hair
X - X-rays you've had? None
Y - Your favorite food? Bacon and Egg Sandwiches!

Enough about me, let's hear about you! Make sure and send me a comment if you play along! I always like to learn about everyones quirks!

Tagged from Sunnyside

My good gal pal Amy from Keepin the Sunnyside and I have been learning that even though we have never met in person we have very parallelled lives. We have so much in common that it is really comical. We keep finding out the funniest things about each other. I guess she wants to see if we have anything else in common, because she tagged me in one of her posts. So the rules are these:
1. List 6 things about myself
2. Tag 6 other people to learn about them

So here goes, here are my 6 things

1. I have a loud muffler on my suburban and I love it. It makes me feel like the strong country girl that I am. It is on purpose, not just a hole in the muffler. It is great, very empowering. Who knew a muffler could do that for a gal?

2. I LOVE country music. Besides classical I don't listen to ANYTHING else! Again a country girl!

3.I love bacon and egg sandwiches so much I could eat one everyday of my life!

4.I hate shopping. I can't stand all the people, trying on clothes (yuck), running from store to store, can't find what you need when you need it, and of course what you need isn't on sale. It is just traumatizing for me. My poor daughter. I sent her school shopping with my sister, who loves shopping. Thanks Tasha!

5.My secret dream it to participate in Cowboy Mounted Shooting. It just looks like such fun. I am Annie Oakley at heart!

6. My biggest pet peeve is when people leave their cart in the middle of the isle and don't notice that people need to get by! Ssshhheeessshh people look around once in while!

Ok, enough of myself lets here from these people:
1.Michelle at Chocolate Marmalade Tea. She is a cute gal, and fellow horse lover, let's see what she has to say.
2. My mom over at Shady Creek Lane. Even though I have know her all my life she is still a bit of a mystery. Let's see what she has hidden. See if she can surprise me!
3. Mona over at Junktown Junction. She is such a fun person, let's see what she comes up with.
4.My very great friend Megan over at Meg's Cooking Corner. She just moved, so we shall see if she has a few minutes for us.
5. Julie over at Jackson Happenings. She is such a fun gal, I just know that she will have something really great.
6. My sister-in-law Makell atBand of Boyds. She is amazing, and I wish we lived a bit closer so I could get to know her better. I guess Alaska is as close as we are going to get!

Good luck to everyone, I hope they have fun with this!

I've Been Tagged!

My bloggy friend and fellow horse lover, Michelle, over at Chocolate and Marmalade Tea has tagged me with this cute happy face. Make sure to check out her blog, she is a super cute gal with very adorable and funny cats.
The rules are that I have to list six unimportant things about myself. I then have to tag 6 other bloggy friends to find out more about them. This is such a fun way to get to know what people are really like, so here goes for me.

Unimportant things that make me happy!
1.Being outside in my yard in the evening when the air is cool and everything seems a bit more quiet compared to the hustle and bustle of daytime.
2.When one of my kids puts there head on my shoulder. I think that is one of the truest forms of love and affection between a mother and child. Makes me sappy, it does.
3.The smile automatically come to my face when I spot my hubby somewhere. Even if it has only been 15 minutes since I have seen him. I just can't help smiling. Mushy love I guess.
4.The smell and feel of my horse. It lowers my blood pressure every time. Yes, I am one of those girls who has always been horse crazy. For as long as I can remember I have adored horses. I guess it is that Kentucky blood that runs in my veins.
5.Reading a great book and becoming so attached to the characters that I miss them when the book is over. Nothing is better that a book that keeps you thinking for days after the adventure is over.
6. Blogging...I love the creative outlet it is for me. There is so much of my personality in my blog and in my writing. I love to put stuff out there for the universe and see what comes back. I have made some really great friend in blog land, and have loved seeing so many wonderful women (and a few men) that are out there living their lives and being very good at it. It reassures me that the world is far better than the evening news likes to portray. Way to go girls!

Now onto the six bloggers that I want to forward this to:

1.Kristin at What are we doing today Mom? Super cute blog with fun craft ides for the kiddos, plus she is just a super cute gal.
2.Megan at Meg's Cooking Corner. She is one of my best friends in real life and has a fabulous cooking blog. Every recipe is super yummy. I'm still thinking about her guacamole and chips. Check her out.
3.Amy at Keepin the Sunny Side. She has become my best blogging buddy and she has a super cute site with lots of fun things to check out.
4. Mona at Junktown Junction. She is such a good friend of mine. We have lots of fun together and she is the most talented person I have ever met. That girl has some skills! Check out her adorable aprons that she makes for farmers markets.
5.Nicole at The Beamin Skeems. She has such an adorable family. It is well worth the time to check out her adorable little munchkins.
6.Tammy at Tammy's Urban Cottage. Tammy is a bloggy friend who I would love to get to know better. She has such a cute house and lots of wisdom. Let's see what we can find out!

For those I tagged, make sure to take the picture on your post, and keep passing it along so we can all get to know the fun sides of each other! Good luck.

P.S. Stay tuned for the big reveal of my fairy garden and my daughters room. I have been working for the past two weeks on these projects and they are almost ready for the world!

Tagged

Okay, I was enjoying Megan's really great post on kids with the flu and little tid bits about her life, when I get to the bottom and...Oh Oh...I see my name. Dangit! She tagged me. I was relishing the fact that there are parents out there suffering more than myself. Just kidding, I was thanking my lucky stars that my kids are not currently throwing up! It doesn't take much for a Mother to be thankful.
Now I have to think of lots of fun and witty things about myself. I'd rather go take a bubble bath with a good book. Oh, wait, Aunt Flo decided to drop by this week, so I guess I better just sit here on this stool and bore you with facts about my wild and mostly crazy life.

8 TV Shows I Enjoy Watching: I currently don't have TV, but if I did this is what I would watch:
Dancing with the stars (sorry I just love the "pretty" costumes)
Scrubs
Deadliest Catch (I don't quite understand my queer interest in this show, it flat out terrifies me, but I can't stop, help)
The Office (you can't help but feel uncomfortable every time you watch this show)
American Idol
Jon & Kate plus 8 (I'm with Megan, I like to see parents that suffer more than me!)
Suvivor(Just for Jeff Probst, I'm a sucker for dimples)
Man vs. Wild (it is just creepy to see him eat on that show)

8 Things That Happened Yesterday:
Homeschooled my kids-Reading, Writing, Math, Language, History...
Read Blogs-I'm addicted, I really need an intervention
Cleaned house as always
Delt with a cranky baby, had to take him for a walk to get
him to stop crying! AAAGGGHH
Took Logan to his swim lesson and had a chat with hime before hand to work a little harder and he was awesome. His teacher even said he was so awesome.
Wished I had one of those giant Kisses to naugh on!
Planned 6 months of activities with our church young women. I spent most of the night wishing I had a roll of duct tape in my bag. Man can they chatter.
Watched "You on a diet"...got depressed

8 Things I am looking forward to:
My kids going to Grandma's for the weekend...Thanks Grandma Coje and Grandma Connie

To get out of debt this year!
To have time to do crafting again.
To go to Hawaii with my cute hubby, thin of course!
To have someone come do my laundry and clean my house each week. Any takers?
That I could get up early in the mornings and enjoy it.
More sleep!

8 Things my husband did yesterday:
Got up with Landon.
Played with the kids when they were getting on my nerves.
Worked
Took out the garbage. Yippee, I love it when he does that.
Made french toast for dinner. Is he a keeper or what!
Watched "You on a diet" with me and didn't get depressed like me.
Didn't get mad at me when I was really cranky.
Watched the other two kids for me so I could take Logan to swim lessons by myself.

8 People I tag:
Connie
Kristin
Whitney
Anna
Amy
Makell
Cindy
