The Loss of a Good Friend

I lost a good friend this week. Kristin was killed a car accident near her home. It is always hard to loose someone close to you, but even more so when they are taken suddenly without any warning. It is frustrating to not be able to have a little closure, our human minds are not equipped to handle separation.
Kristin was one of my goat buddies. She was the one who introduced us to our first little guys and became my kids 4-H leader. We have built a great friendship since that summer and have traveled to shows and fairs together, camped out in the trailer together, laughed until we nearly peed our pants and talked goats til the wee hours of the night.
She leaves behind a husband, son (20) and daughter (16). We are so heartbroken for their family. She was a great lady that mean a lot to so many people, yet she didn't know it. I feel so bad that I did not express my love and admiration to her more often. So many are coming forward to her Facebook page and leaving the most wonderful messages. I hope she can see everyone of those and know how much she was loved here on earth. She had a big heart and gave it so generously.
I hope she is at peace now and is pain free after several years of struggling with injuries from being thrown from her horse. We thought we were going to loose her then, but she was such a fighter that she pulled through to give all of us a few more years of her time. Rest in peace my great friend.

I am so very sorry! I can completely relate as my mom was brutally killed in a car accident 4yrs. Only she was on foot and killed, hit by a reckless 21yr old driver on her cell phone! I had to ID her body. My faith is what got me through that horrid night. My heart goes to you and her family. May God give you all the peace you need.......

OH Maria, I am so sorry. Sudden death leaves all in shock and wonder. We have to come to the realization that it is God's plan. We are not to question, but instead pray they are now in our Heavenly Father's Kingdom.

DEAR MARIA,
MY PRAYERS, HUGS, AND TEARS ARE WITH YOU...AND YOUR PRECIOUS FRIENDS FAMILY. HER DAUGHTER BEING 16 YEARS OLD IS A TOUGH TIME FOR HER MOTHER TO GO TO HEAVEN. MY DAUGHTER DIED 15 MONTHS AGO AND I AM STILL ADJUSTING. HER CHILDREN, HER HUSBAND, YOU WILL BE ADDED TO MY PRAYER LIST TOMORROW AND I AM ALREADY PRAYING AS I TYPE THIS.
THERE ARE NO WORDS MY FRIEND THAT WILL MAKE IT BETTER BUT I HAVE A LISTENING EAR.
SOOO MANY HUGS AND PRAYERS.

I am so, so sorry for this tragic loss. You can see what a spirit she had in her eyes. I pray for her family and friends and can’t imagine their pain at this moment. Losing someone so unexpectedly in a tragic way and one so young is incomprehensible and I am just so sorry.

So sorry for your loss. Our love goes out to your family and I'm here when you need to talk or just need someone to listen. My own recent loss has forever changed me but I am learning some beautiful lessons too. Lean on the Lord, only there can we find peace.

Maria, I wish I had the words to compfort and ease the pain for you and your family, and especially her family, I know that the comforter will be there to help and that he will be there for a very long time until time eases the pain. If you need to talk, I love you and am here. Your friendship to the family will do wonders down the road as they start to heal. Prayers go out to you and thiers now. Love ya.
