Frugal Friday

Rainy Day Farm

I am so excited about this Frugal Friday post. I got so lucky on this one I just can't believe it. So a tiny bit of back story, last week I was home alone with the kids (all week) getting ready for my big garage sale that ended up being a bit of a bust. I made $47 for a weeks worth of work. It was cold, rainy, and lame. They only good thing was that I got to spend the day with by good friend Denise.

Anyway, in all the craziness I left my camera sitting on the fender or my horse trailer for 3 days. Yikes! Because it has been raining ALOT and my camera was out in it.

So, since I washed my cell phone and ruined it a year ago, I learned that if you put the electronic device in a bag with an oxygen absorbers until all the moisture evaporates. I left my camera in the bag for a day and half. After that I turned it on and it was FINE! I just wish I had known about this when I washed my phone. Remember this one the next time water gets into somewhere it shouldn't.

Great tip! I've heard of people putting phones submerged in a bag of rice. Some say it works.. while others say it didn't. Glad this worked for you.
