Christmas Concert!

One of the fun things about putting the kids back in school is the annual Christmas concert. Where the kids get to dress up in what they have best and wear silly decorations and sing all about Christmas. We are lucky to live in a small town where the word Christmas is not a dirty word. The kids are so cute with all their class mates, waving to mom and dad in the crowd. It is a fun way to get together as a community and enjoy the sweetness of children.

Here are Addison and Logan before the big show. They were so excited and wanted to run around and be crazy, but not that didn't fly very far! Especially since they were dressed up!

Here is Logan getting ready to perform his big number. I was working in his classroom the day before and got all the headbands put together for the teacher. Aren't they cute?

Here is a little video of Logan on one of his songs. He is in the back row just below the microphone. He has been singing his songs in the car for days now! It is funny to watch them forget the words as they look out at the crowd.

Poor Addison was in the back behind other kids and was not feeling well, so she is not smiling in any of her pictures or songs. This little video was as good as I could get.

Daddy made up for it when we got home and surprised them with a little ice cream treat. Ice cream always makes everything better, doesn't it? We snuggled on the couch and watch The Grinch Who Stole Christmas while he went to the store.
