The Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY MARCH 9, 2009...

Outside my window...little tiny snowflakes are frosting my backyard and making the world silent.

I am thinking...that my kids are coming home from Grandparents today and my silent world will be no more.

From the learning rooms...I am learning about the best foods to feed my kids.

From the kitchen...heart healthy oatmeal. But, last night I made a sinfully delicious chocolate cake.
I am wearing...my pj's. They are lame so I won't bore you with a description.
I am going...to get my kids today. I really have missed their cute faces.
I am reading...books about feeding kids healthy meals. I need some good ideas. It is hard not to get in food rut.
I am hoping...to get some more cleaning done before the kids get home.

I am hearing...music, my husband making his oatmeal. Silence after that. It is truly golden.

Around the house...are many things that need to be done. Bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, laundry. Yada Yada Yada

One of my favorite things...the movie O Brother Where Art Thou. It's just funny.

A few plans for the rest of the week...work on school with the kids, do a little more spring cleaning, enjoy having my kids home.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...a small daffodil in my yard. So even though it is snowing outside this morning, there is the promise of spring in my yard. Have a happy day!
