Look What The Stork Brought for the 4th of July!

After 147 days of waiting we finally got our new baby pygmy goats. Around 3:00 in the afternoon of the 4th of July Pearl gave birth to a buck and a doe. This is Pearl a few hours before she delivered. She has that prego belly for sure.

It was a very textbook birth and went so smoothly. My awesome friend Becky came over, even though she had a bad cold, and helped me deliver these two little ones.

This is Rocket, and he is the buck. He was born first and was a big boy at around 4lbs.

Pearl is such a good mommy, and was fussing over her babies right away.

This is me with Black Kat, she is the little doe that was born second.

Snuggle time with mom!
I sure hope all my births are this easy!

Congratulations. What cute little babies. I'm so glad they were born today. I know Addison was really hoping for that. We missed you at the cabin. What an exciting day for you guys. Hope to see you soon.
