Words cannot express what I feel in my heart when I see my children being friends. No fighting, or complaining, just friends. It makes all the hard moments worth it. These two boys love and hate each other, sometimes both in a matter of minutes. They are typical siblings, and I hope they grow up to be the best of friends someday!

I know exactly how you feel. I used to love watching my boys together. Well, for that matter, I still do. There is a four year difference between them and I think it was perfect. Now that they are young adults, they have become the best of friends and it warms my heart so much to see them interact with one another. I cannot even put into words how much I love those boys and how much I love spending time with them. My heart just fills to overflowing. A friend recently told me how he found it fascinating the way my boys and I interact with one another and that when they walk into a room where I am or call me on the phone that I just light up and it brings a smile to my face. I never thought about how it might show on the outside as I only knew how it made me feel on the inside.

My two are 3 years 4 months apart. They get along better than seriously any brother/sister I know. They do argue, but its quick, to the point, then forgiven. It amazes me. All the while they were growing, I constantly encouraged them to "help" each other, love each other, respect each other. It totally pays off. I can only pray they remain close as adults.
Nothing is better than brotherly love! I always get emotional when I watch my boys together.
