Garage Sale Find Displayed

As many of you may remember I found a treasure this past summer at a garage sale. I found this Christmas Village for $25.00. I spend another $14.00 on lights and snow and for a grand totoal of $39.00 I now have a complete village.
The funny thing is I have wanted one for many years, but never put up the money to get a complete set. I even tried to start painting one (prior to kids of course) and got two done. That was one of the most tedious things I have EVER done! So when I found this you can imagine my JOY!
I got it all set up on my sofa table, it is the perfect place to display it. Except I had to put the trolley station down below becasue there were too many pieces for the top.

The village center up close. It was fun to place the people all around the town.

Here is the bell tower, that really works.

I love the detail of all the pieces. This one is the dress shop with little clothes inside. I feel like I am in Dickens time when I look at it.

I just love these two little boys coming out of the house to play in the snow. I pretend it is Landon and Logan going outside to sled together! Something they like to do in real life!

Merry Christmas!

Oh man, I wish I would have spied those first then they would be adorning my home this year. Oh well, you have displayed them so well and I'll bet your kids absolutely adore it.
