This is the before. His feet are long not very cute looking. Think I should paint his nails? I think he would bite me if I dared put paint or anytype of glitter on him. He is deffenately a man's man, in horse terms!
This is my very great horse shoer, Brent, bent over working very hard for his money! This is very back breaking work and he works very hard. His dog Max is in the background supervising. Just kidding, he is waiting for any opportunity to herd the goats. This is what they thought of Max...
...very leery of the strange dog in the field that is just a bit too friendly. They think Fred is going to save them for some reason. Not realizing his is the biggest baby in the field.
These are a few tools of the trade. Stand, file, nails, nippers, etc. All look like giant dentist tools.
Here is Soley looking for leftover hoof snacks. Kind of gross that she likes to eat horse fingernail clippings! Yuck!
Working on the back end...don't want to hang out back there for too long, if you know what I mean. Fred had yet to poop on a shoer, let's hope it never happens. It is hard enough to find a good shoer.
TaDa!!!! All done and ready for the trail. Let me tell you this is more than I pay for shoes for myself! I guess that's what horse crazy girl's do!
