Today we had a fun visit with Aunt Violet. It has been far too long since we stopped and had a visit with her. She is one of the sisters in the picture from my Old Fashioned Dinner post. She is #7 of the 8 VanHorne daughters. In the picture she is one in the back row on the far left. She is the kids' Great-Great-Great Aunt. It is so fun to have so much family around to stop in and spend time visiting.
The kids loved playing with her toys and snacking on her endless supply of candy. You never leave Aunt Violets house without some sort of treat.
Addison had so much fun playing with all of the American Girl dolls and clothes that she had, and Logan kept busy with the old Fisher Price pull along train. He even found one of Carol's old toys from child hood, this cute cat with a squeaker in it.
It took Landon a little bit to warm up, but then he was willing to go to her and give lots of loves. We had a great time and will definitely be stopping back by for treats and visitin'.
