Beautiful Day!

We had such a beautiful spring day here. The sun was shining and it was actually warm. We washed our dirty cars and walked around the yard planning and scheming for this summer.

This tiny little narcissus finally opened all the way up to show it sweet little face to the sun. Don't you just want to squeeze it? Without squashing it of course.

That's my boy riding his motorcycle bike. Yes, he is wearing shorts and cowboy boots. High fashion isn't he? Logan and Addison decided that it was summertime and put on shorts. They think that just because the sun is shining, it must be summer. Are they kids from the Northwest or what, you see sun and you put on shorts, because you have no idea how long it will be before you see it again.
On such a nice day we had to let all the animals out for free range time. The first thing the goats did was scratch their horns on the trunks of my apple trees. They are such tough little beasts. Pearl had to keep up with the boys and leave her mark.

This was Landon's first free range day and he had so much fun crawling around the yard and checking things out. He only ate a little dirt, we go for extra fiber around these parts. What is better than dirt? He did find his way over to the fence, and the chickens thought they might get lucky and get a snack from him. I suppose they would have if they had gotten a hold of one of his little fingers.

Of course I had to add a little video of my girls. They love to get into the garden and scratch the straw away and see what delectable little yummies they can come up with. I just love to watch them scratching around, it is mesmerizing and soothing like watching a fire.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I've just spent some time visiting with you and your family, and what a gorgeous blog you have! I'm so jealous that Spring is just around the corner for you (we are going into Autumn), and your daffodils are just beautiful. I love Bob too - he's just like my Sweet-Pea (ruler of the house, walks in one door only to walk out another, guards over everything and everyone!) I'm deffinately coming back for a return visit! Have a great day!

I am so jealous - we still have so much snow on the ground that my flowers are even up yet - not to mention no flowers! I think you should post more photos of YOU. I love to see you and the kids :)
