Yippee! It's Conference Weekend!

I am soooooooooooo excited for this weekend! For one thing my dear hubby is sending my off to my parents house, by myself! Yes, you read that correctly, BY MYSELF!!!!! I am giddy with anticipation, because I have been on mommy overload for the past month with my kiddos in school and all the running around that we have had to do. I can't wait to sleep in, relax, visit with parents, and best of all CRAFT!!!!! WHOHOO! Can you tell I am a bit excited?

The other reason I am excited is that it is General Conference for our church. It is twice a year, when we don't go to regular church and instead listen to the leaders of our Church in Salt Lake give wonderful uplifting messages on many different subject, like faith, charity, love, kindness, frugality, and the list goes on and on! It is such a wonderful time to relax and be fed wonderful counsel.

Restful Sunday

I hope you take time today to rest and rejuvenate yourself! Go ahead and put your feet up and enjoy the beauty of the earth that God has blessed us with. Our summer days are numbered, so enjoy yourself today!

Truly Inspired!

I have been so inspired today! I was having one of those no good bad days. Everything seemed to be going wrong and life was weighing heavily on my shoulders. Then I checked my email and found that there was a new post from Aunt Ruthie over at Sugar Pie Farmhouse. I had a few minutes and thought I would check it, and boy howdy am I glad I did. It was just the perfect thing I needed to hear today. God does work in mysterious ways, and today is was through a blog. I am so thankful for the wonderful women I have met and been inspired by in blogland. My life is definitely richer for it.
So head on over to Aunt Ruthie's if you need a bit of a pick me up. If not please enjoy these flowers from my garden. There is something supremely satisfying to have flowers from you own garden. It makes all the clipping, trimming, weeding and watering well worth it. Hope you have a very sunny day!
