In the middle of being busy for the bazaar one my goats got really sick. Max got sick and after spending many hours caring for him and worrying over him we had to put him down. This was a hard blow because we had only had him for a short time and he is the first loss we have had here on the farm. It is frustrating to watch an animal suffer and there is nothing you can do to help them. So farewell to Crosswynd Farms BT Maxwell, I hope he is in a better place and is free from his pain.

Ohhhh, poor Max. I know how hard that was to put him down, that was very hard on you at a very stressful time.
OH I'm so sorry Maria. it is so hard to loose our pets... and I know your goats have become pets. I'm glad he isn't suffering anymore, but I know thats little consolation.
BTW.. you asked about Sadie. We have no idea how she got Pancreatitis. (apparently its from fatty foods, but we do not feed her table food.) They took films of her abdomen and her pancreas was "angry". She is slowly but surely getting well.. thankfully!
Our condolences to you and your family. Loosing an animal is NEVER easy. We suffer traumatic losses this year, our beloved horse and my Irish Dexter cow. I'll let you know it never gets any easier.
Again{{{{HUGS}}}} sorry for the loss.
Blessings,
Kelle
I am so sorry for your loss. Our animals are like family here. Big hugs my friend.
So sorry, sweets. He is in a better place for sure. {{{{{HUGS}}}}}
Oh I am so sorry. It hurts so much and you feel helpless sometimes dealing with animals, at least I know I have. It's always a tough decision but a merciful one. Bless you little Max.
