Night Stand Makover

My super cute husband was out and about with work and discovered this FREE, solid wood shelf. My daughter has been needing a nightstand in her room so he thought this would be perfect for that and storage all at the same time. He was right and I was tickled pink to have a project to work on. We headed to the hardware store and bought a quart of paint to match an existing shelf in her room.

I did a bit of sanding and painting and it was done. I brought it into her room and had lots of run placing items on her new shelf/nightstand. She loves it and uses it every night for her books that she is reading. Way to go Hubby on this little gem.

I already had the baskets from another piece of furniture, so this project only cost us $13.oo for the paint. It was a lot of fun to transform it.
