Grandpa's Campout

Each summer my Dad had a "Grandpa's Campout with the kids." This year was extra special because my dad bought a canvas wall tent for elk camp this year and decided to let the kids break it in. The kids were OK, but a neighborhood tomcat decided he needed to leave his mark on the new tent though. Spay and neuter your pets people! Despite that the kids had so much fun.

Grandma put together t-shirts, prizes, treats, and toys for the kids. They even sang a few songs around the campfire while eating smores. All the kids loved all the treats they came home with.

Landon was truly a happy camper with his giant box of Dots to munch on all night. Grandma even said that he was good about sharing.

Here are all the kids in the back of grandpa's truck with their t-shirts on.

The kids LOVED playing sardines and hiding all together. Landon wasn't the best at it because he kept screaming whenever he saw someone coming.

Addison and Aleana were buddies for the night. They are the only girl cousins right now and have to stick together for girl power. They do have a girls cousin coming to join the ranks in September!
Thanks to Grandma & Grandpa for such a fun night for all the kids. All us adults hung out and got to eat a hot dinner without anyone needing anything and having conversations from start to finish without being interrupted. It was a great night for all.
