Happy Fall!

This is my happy little pumpkin growing in my garden. I have been watching this little guy all summer. We even made a little bed of straw for it . We don't want it to get yucky on one side. I think I will name this one Burt!
Burt says Happy Fall Y'all!

Nothing says fall like a ripening pumpkin. Such a cute little thing.

What a cute pumpkin! I grew one one year -- seeds from the fall pumpkin sprouted and I let it grow! Alas, it didn't have a pumpkin, however!

Burt! That's so cute!
I love that pumpkin and you're so lucky to have your own home-grown!
Enjoy!
All the best,
Eileen

Hi Maria
I think if there was a prize for capturing the essence of fall, you would get it! A pumpkin growing in your own garden! Thanks for sharing Burt with us and thanks for joining the party.
Hugs, Rhondi

Oh, I'm so impressed that you're growing your very own pumpkin. Does that mean you have more? Beautiful fall pictures.
Be a sweetie,

Stopping by from the fall party. I LOVE Burt and how neat that you made him a little bed of straw!! I would be so excited to grow my own pumpkins!! Hope you have a great time at the party!

Happy Fall!
The pumpkin looks very comfortable under the bed you made... I saved seeds last year from a huge white pumpkin I had but forgot to plant them this year...do you think they will be good next year?

So now I'm curious. Why is the pumpkin named Burt? This is our first year trying to grow pumpkins. We have about 10 of them, but I haven't named any. Maybe I need to do that . . .

I'm not sure what I love more:

1. That you named the pumpkin.
or
2. That you made it a nest.
or
3. That it has the best shape ever!
